These Terms govern a merchant’s use of Makewright Configurator, a service operated by Parallel Studio LLC. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these Terms and represents that the person accepting them can act for the merchant’s business.
The service
Makewright provides tools for building product configuration forms, calculating estimated prices, collecting quote requests, and creating Shopify cart or draft-order workflows. The merchant controls its products, rules, final prices, taxes, shipping, fulfillment, customer communications, and acceptance of every order.
Quotes and checkout
A configuration, calculated amount, or quote request is not a binding sale. The merchant is responsible for reviewing specifications and commercial terms before approval. A customer’s purchase is completed through Shopify and remains subject to the merchant’s own store terms, refund policy, and fulfillment commitments.
Merchant responsibilities
- Provide accurate product, option, pricing, tax, shipping, and lead-time information.
- Test templates before publication and review configurations routed to a quote.
- Use the app lawfully and provide required notices to customers.
- Maintain appropriate Shopify account security and authorized staff access.
- Do not upload malware, probe the service, evade limits, or interfere with other users.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed through Shopify. The price and billing interval shown on Shopify’s approval screen control the charge. Merchants can cancel through the app or Shopify. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, charges already incurred are non-refundable. Feature and usage limits may change when a trial ends or a subscription is cancelled or downgraded.
Availability and changes
We aim to operate the service reliably, but maintenance, provider outages, Shopify changes, and events outside our control can interrupt it. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. If a material change significantly reduces a paid service, merchants may cancel before their next billing period.
Ownership and feedback
Merchants retain ownership of their product data, templates, customer relationships, and content. Makewright retains ownership of the app, software, design, and documentation. A merchant may provide feedback, and we may use it without obligation while avoiding disclosure of the merchant’s confidential information.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. Makewright is not responsible for a merchant’s product, pricing, tax, legal, or fulfillment decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Makewright’s aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees the merchant paid for the service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where it is prohibited by law.
Termination
A merchant may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend access for material breach, security risk, abuse, non-payment, or legal necessity. Data is handled after termination as described in the Privacy Policy and Shopify’s required deletion workflow.
