Measurements
Charge by a single dimension, multiply two axes for area, or three for volume. Set the unit divisor to convert entered dimensions into the units used by your rate.
Quantity tiers
Choose a per-unit rate from quantity thresholds. Test the boundary values so a change in quantity selects the rate you intended.
Project minimums
Raise a calculated total to your configured minimum when needed. A minimum is a floor, not an extra flat fee on every order.
Saved price tests
Save inputs, an expected total and an expected checkout or quote path. Run them before publishing; failing tests block publication.
An estimate and a checkout price have different jobs.

Formula-pricing questions
Can I charge any calculated amount at Shopify checkout?
No. Supported checkout uses Shopify merchandise pricing. Formula-priced work is reviewed and invoiced through a quote.
Does a volume rule need three dimensions?
Yes. Configure three axes and the correct unit divisor. An area rule uses two axes; a single-dimension rule uses one.
What happens if a saved price test fails?
Publication is blocked until the test passes or you correct the test’s expected result to match the intended rule. A test checks both the total and the route.
